Showcase website for tourist accommodation
Nestled among the olive groves of Carovigno, Villa Piti is an upmarket seasonal rental property that welcomes an international clientele in search of Italian authenticity. To position itself in this demanding market, the villa needed a website worthy of its standing: a showcase capable of conveying the atmosphere of the place, but also a genuine sales tool fully synchronised with Booking and Airbnb.
Three challenges shaped the project: winning over an international audience with an immersive visual experience, faithful to the villa's identity and accessible in several languages; growing direct bookings by offering a journey as simple and reassuring as that of the major platforms, secure payment included; and automating administrative management — contracts, confirmations, invoices and availability — which until then was time-consuming and error-prone.
Gigaweb designed and developed a WordPress website on Divi, fully customised with bespoke design and code to match the brand's visual identity. Beyond the showcase, the site includes a complete booking engine: end-to-end online booking (from choosing dates to confirming the stay), secure electronic signature and automatic document generation (contracts, confirmations, invoices), online payments via Stripe with multi-currency support and several payment methods, and real-time synchronisation with Booking and Airbnb for a centralised calendar with no double bookings — all on a fully multilingual site optimised for an international audience.
Villa Piti now has a fully operational direct booking channel, reducing its dependence on third-party platforms and the commissions that come with them. Operationally, centralising the calendars has removed the risk of double bookings, and automating documents and payments has considerably lightened the administrative load for each stay. For guests, the journey is smooth, secure and available in several languages — an experience worthy of the villa's positioning, from the first visit through to confirming the stay.
