An energy drink that needed to exist online

9MM Energy is a natural energy drink formulated with caffeine and ASTA-10™. In a saturated market dominated by a few giants with considerable budgets, an emerging brand can rely neither on volume nor on brand awareness: it has to stand out through the distinctiveness of its positioning. 9MM Energy therefore needed a website and online store in the image of its product — a bold brand universe, instantly recognisable, capable of translating the drink's energy and character online.

Translating a brand identity into a web experience

The project rested on several requirements: faithfully embodying the brand identity, strictly following its graphic specifications; selling online through an easy-to-manage store, equipped with a loyalty programme, a multi-tier referral system and an affiliate programme; building a smooth, engaging experience capable of holding attention and turning visitors into customers; and guaranteeing the team's autonomy in day-to-day content management, without technical dependency.

A bespoke website, designed around the brand

Gigaweb designed and developed the site on WordPress and PrestaShop, pushing the tool beyond its native capabilities. The graphic customisations and bespoke developments follow the brand's specifications to the letter, with no compromises imposed by the limits of a standard theme. Advanced content management modules let the team update its pages, visuals and content fully independently, while an architecture designed for maintainability keeps the site's evolution costs down over time. Pairing WordPress with PrestaShop reconciles two often opposing requirements: the creative freedom of bespoke development and the administrative simplicity of a CMS.

9MM Energy now has a platform that faithfully extends its brand universe, with a smooth browsing experience across all devices. Operationally, the team manages its content without any technical involvement: updates are instant, campaigns roll out at the brand's own pace.
